JUDICIAL REVIEW - TIME LIMITS

If you wish to challenge a decision made by a public body such as the government, or a local authority, you have three months to apply for a judicial review from the date of the impugned decision. Given the amount of work that has to be completed to bring such an application, this is not a long time.

If you wish to challenge a planning decision, the time limit is only two months from the date of the planning decision.
